High-temperature labels

Where labels are exposed to high temperatures in the production or application area, special materials, coatings, adhesives and inks are necessary.  The optimal combination is sought to correspond to the stress.  For example, coatings are available, which become only very slightly discolored even with the greatest thermal stress.  The labels are ideally suited for printing of barcodes with good contrast values.  The thermotransfer process is particularly suitable for the relettering.   A special contact adhesive resists for short periods of time temperatures up to +320 degrees Celcius and adheres optimally even to structured bases.  It is frequently used for marking printed circuit boards before the soldering process or for marking SMD components.
